Man arrested after Adelaide stand-off

AN Adelaide man has been arrested following a seven-hour stand-off with police.

OFFICERS were called to a house in the city's north about 12.20pm on Thursday following an allegation of domestic violence.

The man, in his 30s, is accused of assaulting a woman in her 40s at the house who was treated by ambulance officers before being taken to hospital with minor injuries.The man, who refused to come out of the home, was taken into custody about 7.30pm.
