Man dies in car crash north of Brisbane

A 45-YEAR-OLD man has died after his car crashed into a tree north of Brisbane.

THE man's car veered off Emerys Bridge Road, Gundiah about 4pm (AEST) on Wednesday.

The car hit a tree and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.There were no passengers in the car.
