THREE teenagers have been charged after two boys were robbed while travelling on a train in Sydney's west.
About 12.15pm (AEDT) on Sunday two 16-year-old boys were travelling on a train between Mt Druitt and St Marys when they were approached by two females and a male.
The trio, all aged 17, allegedly assaulted the boys and stole a small amount of money.
The boys got off the train at Werrington and raised the alarm, with the alleged offenders stopped by police at Kingswood station.
They were arrested and taken to Penrith Police Station where they were all charged with robbery in company.
The two girls were refused bail and will appear before Parramatta Children's Court on Monday.
The boy was granted conditional bail and will appear on December 10.
